Last month, Israel arrested 16 year old Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi for allegedly slapping an Israeli occupying soldier outside her home in the West Bank town of Nabi Saleh. Ahed is one of hundreds of Palestinian minors being held in Israeli military prisons. An Israeli court recently ruled that Ahed will be detained until her trial, meaning she will spend her 17th birthday — on January 31 — behind bars.

Join LSJP in writing letters of support and birthday cards to Tamimi, and learn how else you can join in the Palestinian solidarity movement. Treats and coffee will be served.
