Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Nakba in Palestine
Struggle for the Land 2018
Fighting Racism from Boston to Palestine

This May marks the 70th anniversary of the Nakba (Arabic for “catastrophe”) in Palestine in 1948 when over 935,000 Palestinians (85% of the indigenous population of Palestine at that time) were forced off their land, through massacres or threats of massacres like the massacre at Deir Yassin. Zionism, a European white supremacist ideology, has meant catastrophe for the indigenous people of Palestine, but it has also had far reaching and catastrophic effects on the peoples of Africa, Central and South America, and on black and brown people here in the US. Join us May 20th to commemorate the Nakba and learn more about how zionism impacts Palestinians, the Global South, and people of color here in Boston. Help us build a movement to fight white supremacy from Boston to Palestine.
