The Palestine Prisoners Center for Studies condemned the occupation authorities expulsion order against PLC member and Popular Front leader Khalida Jarrar, ordering her expelled from the city of Ramallah to Jericho area.
The Center noted that the occupation forces stormed Jarrar’s home and handed her an expulsion order to Jericho shortly after midnight on August 20 without providing any reasons or evidence, stating that it is an order by the military court that must be implemented within 24 hours.
The Center said that this order is coming in response to the excellent political activity of MP Jarrar, who has continuously confronted the schemes of the occupation, in order to remove her from the political arena. Jarrar is the Chair of the Prisoners’ Committee in the Palestinian Legislative Council and participates in all activities of solidarity with the prisoners inside Palestine, as well as actively working internationally to inform the people of the world of the struggles of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
