On Saturday, July 11th, a coalition of local Houston organizations, including Palestinian Youth Movement – Houston, Palestinian American Cultural Center– Houston (PACC), Palestinian American Council– Houston (PAC-USA), Students for Justice in Palestine — University of Houston, and RISE- Houston are hosting a Houston-wide car-caravan in opposition to Israel’s attempted annexation of Palestinian land.

The caravan will meet at 2949 Dunvale Road, Houston, TX 77063 on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 12:00 PM to convene, decorate our cars, and prepare for our drive. Attendees will be provided the route and will be manually added to a Whatsapp Group, which we will use to connect our caravan as we proceed with the route!

Be sure to bring Palestinian flags, kuffiyehs, posters, and feel free to decorate your car beforehand!

In accordance with social distancing guidelines, our peaceful protest will incorporate appropriate accommodations to ensure attendees and their families are safe. We will be wearing and providing masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer, among other things, to ensure safe participation.

In the wake of Israel’s continued theft of Palestinian and illegal exporporiation of Palestinian resources, we, the broader Palestinian community, raise our voice to say NO to Israeli annexation, and DEMAND an end to U.S. diplomatic and financial support for the apartheid state of Israel.
