8 August 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Saturday, 8 August
12:30 pm
Church Street
Liverpool, UK
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/290466158875569/
Organized by Fight Racism! Fight Imperialism!

We will be meeting on Church Street at 12.30pm for speeches and chants in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

Join us in mobilising for the International Day of Resistance, called by Samidoun Palestinian Political Prisoners Solidarity Network and endorsed by over 100 organisations around the world: https://samidoun.net/2020/07/the-days-of-resistance-are-growing-join-over-50-organizations-in-the-call-to-action-august-7-9/

We stand in opposition to the racist Israeli state’s plans to annex Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank; the ongoing oppression of the Palestinian people and denial of Palestinians’ political and human rights; and the attempts to censor solidarity with Palestine against the inherent racism of Israel and its Zionist ideology.

There will be an open mic and all are encouraged to come prepared to speak and lead chants!

This is an anti-racist event. We will not tolerate Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, or any other forms of racism.
