STOP THE ANNEXATION – SANCTIONS AGAINST ISRAEL – STOP APARTHEID

We are protesting against Israel’s annexation of the West Bank. The annexation will start on July 1 and is fully supported by US President Trump. It is a continuation of the more than a hundred years of Zionist colonization of Palestine.

Although the Dutch government is officially against the annexation, it will undoubtedly support Israel if the Palestinians resist. We therefore call on the Dutch government to immediately impose sanctions against Israel and to stop supplying weapons to the colonial regime.

We stand in solidarity with the Palestinians. They have the right to national self-determination and the right to return.

NB. Although the corona measures have been eased, we request everyone to remain within 1.5 meters during this protest. Please also wear a face mask.

There will be speaches and we are still looking for musicians.

We protesteren tegen de annexatie van de West Bank door Israël. Deze annexatie gaat vanaf 1 juli van start en wordt volledig gesteund door de Amerikaanse president Trump. Het is een voortzetting van de ruim honderd jaar durende zionistische kolonisatie van Palestina.

Hoewel de Nederlandse regering officieel tegen de annexatie is, zal zij ongetwijfeld Israël steunen wanneer de Palestijnen zich verzetten. We roepen daarom de Nederlandse regering op om onmiddellijk sancties tegen Israël in te stellen en geen wapens meer te leveren aan het koloniale regime.

Wij zijn solidair met de Palestijnen. Zij hebben het recht op nationale zelfbeschikking en het recht op terugkeer.

NB. Ook al zijn de coronamaatregelen versoepeld, we verzoeken iedereen tijdens dit protest op 1,5 meter te blijven. Draag alsjeblieft ook een mondkapje.
