Ayman al-Tabeesh enters fifth month of hunger strike

Palestinian political prisoner Ayman Al-Tabeesh has now been on hunger strike for 121 days, protesting his administrative detention without charge or trial. He launched his strike on February 28, 2014, and his health has continued to deteriorate in recent days. He is currently unable to stand and suffering stomach and kidney problems and weakness in his limbs.

Raafat Hamdouna of the Palestinian Prisoners Center for Studies said that as Al-Tabeesh enters the fifth month of hunger strike, it is increasingly necessary to intensify efforts at the international level and emphasize that the occupation bears responsibility of his life, and called for action to save his life before it is too late.
