List of names: 183 Palestinian prisoners to be liberated in the Flood of the Free on Saturday, Feb 1

183 Palestinian prisoners will be liberated tomorrow in the next installment of the first stage of the Toufan al-Ahrar, Flood of the Free, prisoner exchange. They include 111 Palestinian prisoners from Gaza who have been abducted after 7 October 2023 by the occupation as well as 72 Palestinian prisoners with life sentences and long sentences.

So far, 400 Palestinian prisoners have been liberated from Zionist prisons in the first two installments of the Toufan al-Ahrar exchange.

Earlier today, Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, stated that, as part of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange deal, the Al-Qassam Brigades have decided to release the following zionist prisoners tomorrow, Saturday, February 1, 2025:

1. Ofer Calderon
2. Keith Shmonsel Segal
3. Yarden Bibas

In a statement, the Prisoners’ Media Office said:

Within the framework of implementing the general framework agreement of the “Toufan al-Ahrar/Flood of the Free” deal, which included the release of 1,000 prisoners from Gaza who were arrested by the occupation after October 7, in addition to 110 prisoners serving life sentences, in exchange for the release of the list of 9 sick and injured prisoners.

Today, with the occupation handing over the list of prisoners who will be released tomorrow, the list included the name of one of the prisoners from the list of 9 patients, and based on that, it was agreed to add 12 prisoners with life sentences, and 111 prisoners from Gaza who were arrested after October 7.

We confirm that the 111 prisoners who will be released on Saturday are part of the list of 1,000 prisoners from Gaza who were arrested during military operations after October 7, as part of the stages of implementing the deal.

Nahed al-Fakhoury, of the Office of Martyrs, Prisoners and Wounded in Hamas, said:

Within the framework of implementing the fourth batch of the “Free Flood” deal, tomorrow, Saturday, the following will be released:

– 18 prisoners with life sentences.
– 54 prisoners with high sentences and life sentences.
– 111 prisoners from the Gaza Strip who were arrested after October 7.

The release of this batch comes within the framework of the relentless efforts made by the Palestinian resistance in the battle to liberate the prisoners, confirming its commitment to its national and moral duty to break the shackles of the prisoners and end their suffering inside the occupation prisons.

According to the lists released by the Prisoners’ Media Office, the following Palestinian prisoners will be liberated tomorrow. Samidoun will provide updates throughout the day, and we encourage you to follow us on Telegram and X for the latest news.

Once again, as throughout the history of prisoner exchanges, it has been made clear that it is the resistance that brings liberation, to the prisoners, the land and the people of Palestine, a resistance that stretches from the heart of Gaza, throughout Palestine, to Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran, and to the people of the world. Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network salutes all of the prisoners, their families and loved ones, and the Resistance and the people of Gaza who have made their liberation possible.

We urge everyone, around the world, to join with the Palestinian people in Gaza and everywhere, to celebrate the achievements of the Resistance and the humiliation of the occupier, and to celebrate and welcome each liberated prisoner as the heroes of our global movement that they are, in public events, with posters and public education, with actions and events exposing Zionism and imperialism everywhere.

We urge all supporters of Palestine and Palestinian and Arab communities to receive and honour the prisoners virtually and symbolically — and pledge to continue the movement until all of them are free, and all of Palestine is free, from the river to the sea.
