Over 600 people marched through the French capital, Paris, on Thursday, 4 January from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, demanding the release of Palestinian child prisoner and youth activist Ahed Tamimi, her family and all of the over 300 imprisoned Palestinian children.

Following a rally at Place du Chatalet, where several speakers addressed the crowd, including Gilles Devers, who filed complaints with the International Criminal Court on behalf of Palestinian victims, marchers proceeded along Sebastopol Boulevard. They carried signs and banners saluting the resistance of Ahed and all Palestinians suffering under Israeli state terror for over 70 years.

Many journalists attended on this occasion amid the rising Palestinian and international anger in response to the provocations by Netanyahu and Trump.

Video by HispanTV covering the Paris march:

Following a strong, powerful march, the protesters concluded at the Place de la Republique, where they pledged to continue to march and struggle so long as Ahed Tamimi, her mother Nariman and her cousin Nour – and their fellow Palestinians – continue to face military courts.

“Attention, when women and children are under attack, Israel and those who are complicit with it will feel our response!”
