Occupation authorities transferred 200 prisoners from Ashkelon prison to other prisons on July 8, citing the “deteriorating security situation in the south,” as it faces retaliation from the Palestinian resistance after hundreds of airstrikes on Gaza that have killed over 30 Palestinians and wounded hundreds more, including a number of children.
