On June 5, three weeks after Israel’s massacre of unarmed Palestinian protesters in Gaza, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer is coming to Chicago as part of a damage control P.R. tour.
With the Trump administration’s recent embassy move, and the hesitation of so many elected officials–especially U.S. Senators from Illinois Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth–to directly condemn the Israeli killings of Palestinians in Gaza, it’s more clear than ever that the struggle for justice for Palestinians will be won through grassroots pressure.
Join us June 5th – the 51st Anniversary of the Occupation of the West Bank, Gaza, and Jerusalem – to make sure Ron Dermer can deliver a clear message to Netanyahu: the movement for Palestinian rights and Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions is growing in Chicago and throughout the U.S.
Join us to demand an end to the Blockade and Killings in Gaza, and the Occupation of the West Bank and Jerusalem; support for the Right of Return for Palestinians to the lands from which they were expelled in 1948 and since; equal rights for Palestinian citizens of Israel; and that Trump reverse his decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
