A coalition of organizations is calling for a massive demonstration on Saturday, 27 June in Paris, beginning at Barbès at 3 pm.

The Israeli government of Netanyahu promised, with the support of the Trump administration and the complicity of the European Union, to directly annex a large portion of occupied Palestinian land in the West Bank on 1 July, a blatant violation of international law.

The claim to annex 30% of the West Bank, Palestinian territory occupied by Israel for 53 years, represents another blatant theft of Palestinian land and a new wave of ethnic cleansing that the Israeli colonizer has carried out against the Palestinian people sicne 1948.

This openly colonialist and racist regime feels even more confident on this criminal path as world news focuses on the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences. It hopes to divert attention from its ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.

For these reasons, the below organizations, engaged in the fight against racism and colonialism, call for a demonstration in Paris on Saturday, 27 June, marching from Barbès to Châtelet to stand in solidarity with Palestine and its resistance.

Le gouvernement israélien de Netanyahou promet, avec le soutien de l’administration Trump et la complicité de l’Union européenne (UE), d’engager dès le 1er juillet l’annexion pure et simple d’une grande partie des territoires palestiniens occupés de Cisjordanie, en violation flagrante du droit international.

Ces déclarations annexionnistes de 30% de la Cisjordanie, territoire palestinien occupé par Israël depuis 53 ans, représentent un vol flagrant des terres palestiniennes et une nouvelle vague de nettoyage ethnique qu’opère le colonisateur israélien à l’encontre du peuple palestinien depuis 1948.

Ce régime ouvertement colonialiste et raciste se sent d’autant plus encouragé dans cette voie criminelle qu’avec une actualité mondiale, marquée notamment par l’épidémie de coronavirus et ses conséquences, il espère détourner l’attention de ses propres crimes contre le peuple palestinien.

C’est pourquoi les partis, organisations et associations soussignés, engagés dans la lutte contre le colonialisme et son frère jumeau le racisme, appellent à manifester à Paris samedi 27 juin à 15h00 de Barbès à Châtelet pour affirmer notre solidarité avec la Palestine et sa résistance.
