The Palestinian prisoners organisation Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network has called for an international day of protest to release the Hares boys – 5 teenagers who were captured by Israeli forces near the Palestinian town of Hares on 15 March 2013.
Join us in a street protest in Manchester city centre, linking the struggle for the release of Palestinian prisoners with the growing movement to boycott Israeli apartheid. Britain bears continuing responsibility for the Israeli state’s colonisation of Palestine and says nothing of the 6,000 Palestinian political prisoners locked up by Israel. Many of these prisons are run with the collusion of G4S, a British multinational ‘security’ corporation. Manchester Labour council sees no problem with allowing G4S to run its security operations. We need to break these links.
