Main event of the Resistance Festival – a three day festival of politics, music and art, organized by Dromos Newspaper in Greece – will feature a panel with Leila Khaled, Palestinian resistance icon; Figen Yüksekdag, MP of the HDP in Turkey; Deborah Santana, Puerto Rican scholar and activist; and Marina Brescia, of the organizing committee of the Resistance Festival.

Leila Khaled will, among other topics, speak about the case of Bilal Kayed and Palestinian political prisoners.

The Resistance Festival also marks the launch of Greek-language translation of Leila’s autobiography, My People Shall Live, originally published in 1973. She will be signing copies of the new Greek edition on Saturday, 25 June and Sunday, 26 June, between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm.
